Our journey began in the winter of Hokkaido, where silence and harshness coexist. The clear air, the endless snowy fields, and the quiet breathing of nature. When we came into contact with this beauty, we began to think about "what is truly rich?" It is never something overly decorated, but rather an essential comfort that remains after the unnecessary things have been stripped away. Kyomei7.8 was born to give shape to that answer.

We create textiles made from carefully selected natural materials. We value the delicate warmth of cashmere, the supple strength of wool, and the rich textures created by nature. Materials such as sheep's wool and cashmere in particular have a rich flavor that deepens with time, and as they become more in tune with the lifestyle of the person using them, they develop a texture that is unique to that person.

Our design inspiration comes from the nature of Hokkaido itself. The snow patterns created by the wind, the color of the sky reflected on the lake surface, the tree rings. These organic shapes and changing colors live on in our products. We want our products to be more than just clothing or interior items, but to be "part of the scenery that blends into your life," gently accompanying your daily activities.

The name Kyomei7.8 incorporates the sound of the word "Kyomei" (resonance) and a worldview in which people and nature, tradition and modernity, functionality and beauty are in harmony. The number "7.8" also symbolizes our philosophy that comfort and beauty can be found in the slightest fluctuations and changes.

What this brand creates is not just a thing, but an experience to be "felt."
